Wiktor Malinowski
Wiktor Malinowski

Wiktor Malinowski raised on the cutoff and Nicola Grieco moved all in from the button, which Malinowski quickly called for the last 685,000.

Wiktor Malinowski: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Nicola Grieco: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Malinowski was the shortest stacking coming back from the break and fell behind on the {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop. Riess Folds to Hajiyev on the River

Niveau 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Viktor Katzenberger opened to 120,000 with {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} on the button and Ryan Riess called in the small bind with {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} before Rustam Hajiyev joined them from the big blind with {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

On the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, it went check-check and Katzenberger continued for 140,000 with his top pair. Hajiyev folded but Riess called with second pair and a couple of backdoor draws.

The turn was a {5-Hearts} and Riess added hearts to his outs. The {3-Spades} river paired the bottom card and Katzenberger had the best hand with the higher two pair. Riess checked and used a time bank card after Katzenberger bet 280,000 into the pot but ultimately folded.

Niveau 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

There are still 10 players remaining and they were sent into the next 20-minute break.

On the outer table, Nicola Grieco won the last hand when he defended the big blind to a raise of 100,000 by Timothy Adams. On the {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Grieco checked and called a bet of 60,000. The {j-Hearts} turn and {9-Clubs} river were checked and Grieco tabled {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} as the winning hand.

One for Medina; Adams Battles With Grieco

Niveau 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Nicola Grieco
Nicola Grieco

Massimo Mosele raised to 110,000 and he was called by Luis Medina in the small blind and Timothy Adams in the big blind. On the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, action checked to Mosele and he continued for 130,000. Medina called and Adams folded to see the {10-Diamonds} turn go check, check.

After the {2-Clubs} river, Medina bet 155,000 with 305,000 behind and Mosele called.

What followed was a private duel between Adams and Nicola Grieco. Grieco opened to 150,000 and Adams jammed for 1,700,000 to win the pot. Grieco then defended against a raise by Adams and check-called a bet of 60,000 on the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop before check-folding the {j-Diamonds} turn.

In the next hand, Adams made it 100,000 and Grieco called in the small blind. Grieco checked on {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and called a bet of 60,000 once more. They checked the {2-Spades} turn and Grieco check-raised the {5-Diamonds} river into a bet of 135,000 by Adams. A fold of the Canadian followed and Grieco flashed {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} along with adding several words in Italian.
