Tito Ortiz Flops Eights Full

Niveau 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Tito Ortiz
Tito Ortiz

With around 10,000 in the pot and a flop of {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, a player checked from early position and UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz did the same from middle position. Canada's Pouliot Serge then bet 4,500 from the hijack and only Ortiz called to see the {3-Hearts} turn.

Action went check-check, the {J-Spades} completed the board on the river, and Ortiz bet a small 3,000. Serge paid it off only to muck when the MMA legend rolled over the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a flopped full house.

Michael Lech
Michael Lech

With about 5,000 in the middle, on a board reading {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, Daniel Dvoress led out for 2,000 from the small blind.

Michael Lech was in the big blind and raised to 5,000. Dvoress called.

The river was the {2-Clubs}. Dvoress checked and Lech grabbed one of the shorter, multi-colored stacks in front of him and plopped it in the middle. The dealer cut the chips out, revealing a bet of 21,500.

Dvoress laughed a little, true to his general demeanor at the table, and went into the tank. After a moment he tossed in a single chip, indicating a call.

Lech quickly tabled {k-Hearts}{8-Spades} for two pair, kings and eights. Dvoress mucked his cards, sending the pot Lech's way.

"When Was the Last Time Someone Folded This to You?"

Niveau 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Jason Wheeler raised to 2,800 under the gun and saw a flurry of action ensue. Adrien Allain made it 7,500 to go on his left then Erik Cajelais thought things over and put in 17,000 from two more seats down. Wheeler wasted little time before five-betting to 36,000 when it folded back to him. Allain immediately folded, and Cajelais sighed and showed {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} after about 30 seconds.

"When was the last time someone folded this to you?" he asked Wheeler.

Wheeler did not show his cards.

After a player opened for 3,100 under the gun and Juan Burguillos Camacho called from the cutoff, Jorge Postigo three-bet all in for 14,400 from the small blind. The original raiser quickly folded and Camacho decided to call.

Camacho: {q-Spades}{8-Spades}
Postigo: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Postigo was way out in front and he actually improved to a flush after the board ran out {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Leo Fernandez
Leo Fernandez

We just heard of the bust out of Leo Fernandez. On a flop of {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Fernandez bet 5,000. His opponent Eric Wasylenko raised to 11,000 and called Fernandez's 36,000 shove that followed.

Fernandez tables {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} but was behind to Wasylenko's {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. The {A-Clubs} on the turn settled it, the {10-Spades} on the river was of no importance anymore. Leo Fernandez eliminated from the tournament.

Gonzales Slow to Call With a Boat; Peters Busted

Niveau 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Tito Ortiz had a bet of 20,000 in front of him on a board of {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. His neighbor on the right, Jose Gonzales, had the button and was thinking things over. Finally, he dropped in calling chips. Ortiz flipped over {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for aces and fives but was second-best by far as Gonzales held {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for nines full.

On the way out of the room, we spotted Tobias Peters, who confirmed he was busto. He said he got queens in against a combo draw postflop and got outdrawn on the turn.
