Greenwood Wins Showdown with Yong

Niveau 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Sam Greenwood raised to 22,000 from under the gun and Michael Soyza called from the next seat over. Elton Tsang came along from the cutoff and Rob Yong called from the button.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs} and action checked to Yong on the button. Yong bet 55,000 and Greenwood called while Tsang and Soyza got out of the way. The turn was {j-Spades}.

Yong and Greenwood checked the turn and the {2-Hearts} river. Greenwood turned over {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for a pair of nines and Yong tossed the losing hand in the muck.

Nemeth Jams the River

Niveau 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With 50,000 already in the pot and {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} on the board, action checked to Lun Loon on the button. Loon and Andras Nemeth raised to 45,000 from the big blind. Loon went into the tank and used a time extension before he three-bet to 110,000 and Nemeth came along.

The turn was {9-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was {10-Clubs}.

Nemeth jammed the river with Loon well covered, but Loon thought it over for a moment and reluctantly tossed his hand in the muck.
