Michael Soyza
Michael Soyza

Rok Gostisa raised to 10,000 from the button and Michael Soyza three-bet to 35,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Gostisa tossed in the extra chips to call.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Spades} and Soyza checked. Gostisa bet 8,000 and gave Soyza a long look as he called to see {k-Clubs} on the turn.

Soyza checked again and Gostisa bet 10,500. Soyza called and Gostisa gave another look as the river came {8-Diamonds}.

Soyza checked for a third time and Gostisa bet 130,500, leaving 1,000 behind. Soyza used a time bank before he called, and Gostisa mucked his hand.

After some confusion about whether or not Gostisa was allowed to muck was settled, Soyza took the pot without showing his hand. Gostisa did not show and was not obligated to do so, as he was not all in.
