Keith Lehr limped in from under the gun before Brent Roberts made it 18,000 on the button. Maxx Coleman called in the small blind. Koray Aldemir then moved all in from the big blind for 76,000. Lehr folded and Roberts then moved all in over the top for about 300,000 with a covering stack on Coleman.

"I have such a pretty hand," Coleman said, using a time extension to think over his decision. Eventually Coleman called, putting himself at risk for about 180,000 and the cards were turned up.

Maxx Coleman: {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Koray Aldemir: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Brent Roberts: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Roberts queens made a full house to earn him the massive scoop, chipping him up to just under 600,000.

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

Jordan Cristos limped in from the cutoff and Brandon Adams called on the button as well. Justin Bonomo completed from the small blind and George Wolff checked his option in the big blind.

The flop was {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} and action checked to Adams who put out a bet of 25,000. Bonomo called before Wolff potted, making it 160,000. Action folded to Adams who folded as well before Bonomo dropped into the tank. He thought for a bit then moved all in. Wolff called quickly.

Justin Bonomo: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
George Wolff: {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}

Wolff was ahead with the better kicker and he held on through the {5-Spades} turn and the {3-Spades} river. That allowed him to double and left Bonomo sitting on an extremely short stack.

2019 US Poker Open

Ben Yu opened with a raise to 55,000 and Brent Roberts called in the big blind.

The flop was {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Roberts immediately bet out 125,000. Yu thought only for a few seconds then moved all in and Roberts snap called.

Ben Yu: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Brent Roberts: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}

The turn was the {J-Hearts} and Roberts said "Good game," to Yu, thinking he was drawing dead, but what he didn't immediately realize is that Yu made not only a straight flush, he made a six-card straight flush from eight to king. The river was a meaningless {9-Clubs} and Yu would double up.

"My brain did that at first too," Yu said. "I thought I was done."

Cary Katz limped in and Brent Roberts completed in the small blind. Martin Zamani checked his option in the big blind.

The flop was {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} and all three players checked to see the {Q-Clubs} on the turn. There, Roberts led out for 175,000 leaving himself with less than 100,000 behind. Zamani called.

"Thank god you called," Katz said. "If you didn't I might've had to."

Katz then folded and the {2-Spades} came on the river. Roberts moved all in and Zamani quickly called.

"Nine-deuce," Roberts said, announcing his hand. Zamani was holding {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} though for a better full house and that would send Roberts to the rail in 7th place.

Play is now finished for the day and a full recap will be available shortly.
