Nick Rampone {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Daniel O'Brien {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The dealer laid out {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Rampone will take 65,600 chips through to play with tomorrow.

Kessler Knocks One Out to Go Heads Up

Niveau 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

Allen Kessler has just taken out an opponent in third place to get to heads up on his table.

After the other player moved all in, he insta-called. His opponent turned over {q-Spades}{4-Spades} and found himself up against Kessler's {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Kessler's pocket pair improved to a set. Will this be his 59th WSOP cash?

Table #83 Update

Niveau 8 : 250/500, 75 ante
Taylor Paur
Taylor Paur

Taylor Paur and Dylan Linde's table was playing four-handed when Daniel Sprung raised to 1,200 from the button. Paur, sitting in the small blind, three-bet by putting a stack of yellow T$1,000 chips in, which covered both James McKay in the big blind and Sprung. McKay looked at his cards and laughed. He called for the 2,825 he had in front of him. Sprung took a bit longer but then folded.

James McKay: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Taylor Paur: {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} to give Paur two pair. The turn brought them the {A-Spades} so McKay suddenly had another lease on life, but the {9-Diamonds} on the turn was a brick and McKay was out of the shootout.

Harmon Beats Liu Heads Up

Niveau 8 : 250/500, 75 ante

Wayne Harmon is the victor, following a heads-up battle with Jasper Liu.

The final hand saw a very short-stacked Liu get the last of his chips in versus Harmon and though he was live, he was the slight underdog and looking to hit.

Wayne Harmon: {j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Jasper Liu: {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Flop: {j-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts}

It was a great flop for Harmon and Liu only had running outs in order to stay in the tournament.

The {8-Diamonds} turn was the end of it and the {a-Diamonds} river changed nothing. Harmon will bring 65,600 through to tomorrow for Day 2.
