Counts and Small Hands From the Amazon Gold Section

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Kristofer Homerding faced a bet of 12,500 on the river of a board {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{A-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and eventually called to get shown the {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Homerding had missed a flush draw with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} but chopped it up thanks to the board to preserve his big stack.

Ryan Riess won a small pot against Darryll Fish when betting the river of a board {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for 2,800. Fish gave it some thought and called, but nodded and mucked as soon as Riess rolled over {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair.

Hieu Luu raised to 1,050 on the button and fellow big stack Steven Snyder called in the big blind. The duo checked the {K-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and Snyder bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 1,200. Luu raised it up to 4,000 and claimed the pot without further resistance.

Last but not least, Rafael Moraes grinded up his stack once more after being left with half the starting stack not long ago. On the three-way flop of {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Moraes was the only one to call the bet of 2,100 by Justin Allen, who then checked the {5-Spades} turn. Moraes bet 5,800 and won the pot right there.
