Krasienko Builds Stack

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Adam McCoskey and Mike Krasienko were involved in a battle of the blinds and the flop showed {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}. McCoskey checked over to Krasienko, who bet 2,100 and picked up a call. On the {2-Clubs} turn, McCoskey checked once more and Krasienko bet 3,200. Without saying a word, McCoskey grabbed a T-5,000 chip and several smaller chip denominations and put in 5,200.

Krasienko verified with the dealer that this was a forced min-raise to 6,400 and put in as many chips, McCoskey also filled up. On the {10-Diamonds} river, McCoskey's bet of 4,200 was quickly called by Krasienko and he claimed the pot with {A-Spades}{J-Spades}.

De Meulder Doing Well

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

The flop read {3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and Scott Levitt had check-called Christophe De Meulder's bet of 500. The turn brought them the {5-Spades} and De Meulder continued with a bet of 2,000 after Levitt had checked. Levitt raised to 7,000 and De Meulder folded after considering it for a few seconds. Levitt showed {5-Hearts} for at least a turned pair of fives.

The hand right after, De Meulder raised to 750 from under the gun. Levitt called from the small blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Levitt now check-called the 900 continuation-bet of De Meulder.

The turn was the {8-Clubs}, De Meulder fired another 1,800 bet into the pot which Levitt check-called.

The river completed the board with the {6-Clubs}, Levitt checked for the last time. De Meulder barreled another 7,200 bet which sent Levitt into the tank. After about two minutes, Levitt reluctantly folded.

May Wins Some Chips Back

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Randolph Spain opened to 700 from the hijack and Heidi May raised it to 2,000 from the button. After some thought, Spain made the call and checked on the {6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop. May continued with a bet worth 2,500 and it was enough to win the pot.

May, who had a bad start in this event, has now a stack worth 23,500.

Arthur Morris
Arthur Morris

Arthur Morris has already had success here at this year's series. Just a few days ago he finished 7th in Event #58: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed and he has been spotted in the room.

The action was on the river with a {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board already out. There was around 45,000 in the pot and Morris lead for 13,000, which was under a third pot. His opponent looked uncomfortable with his spot and took a minute to decide what to do. He made the call but mucked when he saw that Morris held {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

Rough Start for Gathy

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Michael Gathy seems to have a rough start of the tournament. He already lost about half of the 50,000 he received at the start of the day. Things didn't go well for Gathy in the last hand either.

Thomas Kornechuk raised from late position to 900 and Gathy called in position. The player in the small blind got along for the ride. The flop came down {2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and it checked to Kornechuck. He bet 1,100 and Gathy called. The player in the small blind was out and they saw the {2-Diamonds} turn appear as they proceeded heads-up.

Kornechuk checked to Gathy this time and he tossed in a bet of 1,300. Kornechuk called and the river was the {A-Clubs}. Both players checked and when Kornechuk opened up {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} Gathy mucked his hand.

D'Angelo Builds Stack

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

On the heads-up flop of {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Alexis Fleur checked out of the big blind and his sole opponent bet 650 into a pot of 1,950. Fleur called and checked once more to see the {A-Hearts} on the turn. Another bet of 1,450 by his opponent did the trick, as Fleur conceded the pot before his attention turned to the big screens in the Amazon room, which showed the penalty shootout of Colombia and England.

One table over in the Amazon Gold section, the table of notables right at the corner grew further as Kyle Bowker and Johnny Nedved joined the likes of Noah Schwartz, Ryan D'Angelo and Matt Giannetti. On the three-way turn of {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, action checked over to D'Angelo and he bet 3,600 into 5,500. Schwartz verified the bet size and folded, and Amelio Amato from one seat over also let go to award the pot to D'Angelo.
