Prizmic Martini Fighting Back

Niveau 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Gregor Prizmic Martini just won a pot and is climbing back up to the 50,000 starting stack. After him and his two opponents checked on the {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board, Prizmic Martini bet 3,400 in a 5,400 pot when the {3-Diamonds} river came down. Both his opponents folded and Prizmic Martini showed them {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a rivered set.

Despite winning this pot, Prizmic Martini is still down from the last time we walked by his table. He told us he lost a pre-flop all-in against a short stacked player with tens against aces.

Quallio Uses His "One Time"

Niveau 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

David Quallio and his opponent were heads up on the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board. Quallio checked to his opponent who bet 25,000 into a main pot of about 40,000 and Quallio check-raised all in for his last 32,600.

His opponent called turning over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Quallio showed {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for the nut flush draw. "One time" Quallio said quietly just as the dealer put the {7-Clubs} out on the river. Quallio improved to the nut flush to scoop the pot and move over the century chip mark.

Turner Looking for More Double-Ups

Niveau 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Jon Turner was sporting a short stack with 3,350 in front of him and was sitting in the under-the-gun position next. He said he was down to 6,000 at one point and built it up to 30,000 but obviously didn't have that anymore.

Turner shoved for 3,275 and action folded all the way back to the player in the big blind who snap-called.

Jon Turner: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}
Big Blind: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Spades} to give Turner another lease at his tournament life on the turn with the pair of aces.

May Adds Chips

Niveau 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

On a raised pot, the flop was showing {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs} with three players involved. Heidi May first checked from the small blind and called a bet worth 1,700 from her opponent after the third player folded.

The turn brought a {8-Hearts} and both players checked, as well as on the river {3-Hearts}. May turned over {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of kings and it was enough to make her opponent send his hand into the muck.

Breviglieri Bouncing Back

Niveau 5 : 250/500, 75 ante
Natalia Breviglieri
Natalia Breviglieri

The board read {7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Natalia Breviglieri had bet 4,300 from under the gun. Her opponent in late position called.

The {8-Hearts} on the river completed the board and Brevigliere barreled another 7,000 into the pot. Her opponent needed a few extra seconds to take a decision and then made the call. Breviglieri tabled {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for two pair, kings and deuces, and that was enough for her opponent to muck his hand.

Padilha Lands a Double Up

Niveau 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

The flop read {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, a player bet and Pedro Padilha then moved all in for 12,425. His opponent called and the players turned over their hands.

Pedro Padilha: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{5-Spades}

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and his opponent now picked up some straight outs. The river came the {2-Spades} and changed nothing as Padilha took down the pot with his kings.

Niveau 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

We arrived at the table when the {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop was already out there and the pot was about 7,000. Michael Gagliano checked to Robert Geith who bet 4,200. Gagliano called to see the turn.

The turn card was the {Q-Hearts} and both players checked this street. The river was the {J-Hearts} and both players checked again.

Vitantonio Starting to Pick Up Traction

Niveau 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

A player in late position opened to 1,100 and Peter Vitantonio three-bet to 3,300 from the button. The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} and both players checked.

The turn was the {3-Clubs}, the late position opponent led out for 5,500 and Vitantonio called. The river fell the {j-Hearts} and both players checked.

Vitantonio showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens and his opponent showed {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for just a pair of fours, Vitantonio scooped in the pot.
