Virani Eliminated

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Mohsin Virani had what appeared to be a three-bet in front of him on the button and was facing a reraise to 4,200 from big blind Peter Kaemmerlen. Virani called with only about 10,500 back and saw a {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop. Kaemmerlen bet 3,000 and called immediately when Virani shoved.

Mohsin Virani: {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Peter Kaemmerlen: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Virani needed help but the turn brought the opposite as the {k-Spades} left him drawing dead. He improved in pointless fashion with the {9-Spades} river and wished everyone good luck.

Gomez Rivers Kassouf

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

William Kassouf opened the action with a raise from early position and Javier Gomez three-bet to 2,300. The player in the small blind called as did Kassouf.

The flop came {2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} and after the action was checked to Gomez he bet 2,300 again and again both his opponents called.

All three players checked on the {j-Hearts} turn and again on the {8-Diamonds} river.

Kassouf showed {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Gomez tabled {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights to take the pot.

Watson Folds to a Shove

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

There was a substantial pot of about 7,000 already brewing and the board read {Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} when we got to the table. Mike Watson was in middle position and heads-up against the small blind, who had checked. Watson bet 4,500, the small blind check-raised to 15,500, and after brief consideration, Watson called.

The {5-Diamonds} hit the river and the small blind shoved for what looked like 27,100. Watson went into the tank for over three minutes before he ultimately folded. The small blind showed {9-}{4-} as the dealer pushed the pot his way.

"I just wanted to do that one time," he said.

Lampropulos Gives Up on the Turn

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Maria Lampropulos made it 800 under the gun, earning a call from a player two seats to her left. The button came along and they went three-way to the {4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Lampropulos continued for 800 and both of her opponents were interested in seeing the {6-Diamonds} turn.

The betting round was checked to the player on the button who fired 3,200, forcing two folds.

Pirault Picks off Casale

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

The under the gun player raised to 800 and Jason Casale called next to act. It folded to Francois Pirault on the button and he re-raised to 3,200. Casale called and they went heads-up to the {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop.

Casale led out with a bet of 3,000 and Pirault called. The turn was the {a-Diamonds} and both player checked. The river was the {j-Hearts} and Casale fired out a bet of 6,000. Pirault quickly called and Casale showed {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for just king high.

Pirault turned over {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for aces and jacks with a queen kicker to take the pot.

Barer Gives Up on the Flop

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Ami Barer sat in the big blind and saw a player from middle position and Mikael Guenni from the small blind called. Barer three-bet to 3,200 and the initial raiser folded, but Guenni tagged along.

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Guenni checked to Barer. Barer threw in a 5,000 chip and announced 2,600. Guenni thought about it for a minute and then placed 6,400 in the middle. Barer gave up and the hand and sent his cards to the dealer.
