With the action on the 
river and around 22,500 in the pot, Jeff Hakim checked in the big blind and his opponent fired 20,600 from the cutoff. Hakim spent several minutes thinking and some of the other players used that break to stand up and stretch their legs. Then, Hakim finally waived the white flag, signalling a fold by slightly moving his cards towards the muck.

Scott Matte raised to 2,200 from early position and Abernathy three-bet to 6,000 from one seat over. Matte called and checked the

. Action checked to Hellmuth and his bet of 2,000 was called by Garbi only. On the 
turn, Hellmuth checked and folded to a bet of 3,000 by Garbi.
