Niveau 33 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Alexandru Papazian raised to 23,000 from the hijack and both Jan Lakota on the button and Johan Guilbert in the big blind called.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, Guilbert and Papazian quickly checked but Lakota led out for 25,000. Guilbert looked at Lakota and folded but Papazian decided to raise to 83,000. Lakota considered his options for a bit before opting to let the pot go.

Zamani Can't Bluff Farrell

Niveau 34 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Andrew Lichtenberger won the last hand of the previous level when he check-called a bet of 15,000 by Jan Lakota on the {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, then checked through a {q-Hearts} turn and bet the {q-Diamonds} river for 21,000 to force a fold.

As soon as the blinds went up, Ben Farrell raised to 26,000 and Martin Zamani made the call out of the big blind. On the {q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Zamani check-raised from 20,000 to 45,000 and Farrell called to see the {4-Clubs} on the turn. Zamani bet 70,000 and Farrell called once more with 233,000 behind.

The {2-Spades} river paired the board for the second time and Zamani was to act.

"You got anything? Just curious," Zamani said in table chat before leading for 50,000. Farrell called and caught Zamani bluffing with the {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The Brit held the winning hand with {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} and nearly moved back to where he started the final table with.

Guilbert Doubles Through Papazian

Niveau 34 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Johan Guilbert
Johan Guilbert

Johan Guilbert raised to 30,000 from mid-position and Alexandru Papazian called in the big blind.

Papazian check-raised Guilbert's continuation-bet of 12,000 to 42,000 on the {4-Spades}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and Guilbert called.

The turn brought them the {q-Hearts}, Papazian checked again and Guilbert bet 57,000. Papazian raised to 150,000 and Guilbert looked at his cards once more, counted out the rest of his stack before making the call in the end.

The river completed the board with the {3-Clubs} and Papazian shoved with the bigger stack which Guilbert snap-called.

Papazian resignedly tabled {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for two pair, queens and fours with the ace-kicker. Guilbert quickly got up from his seat and flipped over {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for the turned trip queens to double up.

The dealer counted out his stack and confirmed Guilbert had 299,000 behind, kicking Guilbert into the chip lead and leaving Papazian behind with just under 450,000.

Trips for Lakota

Niveau 34 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jan Lakota had lost a pot and then took on Martin Zamani when facing a raise to 24,000. The Slovenian called out of the big blind and checked the {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, Zamani checked behind. On the {j-Diamonds} turn, both players checked once more and Lakota then bet the {q-Spades} river for 60,000.

Without any table chat this time, Zamani mulled over his decision and called. Lakota tabled {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and that won the pot.
