Israelashvili Adds On

Niveau 9 : 0/0, 1,200 ante

James Chen raised and Chance Kornuth called. Sam Snead raised to 8,200 and Roland Israelashvili moved all in for 35,800.

Chen and Kornuth called with the action back on Snead.

"I don't know what i'm supposed to do," he said. "In No-Limit this is a no brainer. I don't feel like coin flipping."

"Make sure you get that down," Epstein said. "A guy playing short deck 'Doesn't feel like coin flipping'"

Eventually Snead called.

Sam Snead: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Roland Israelashvili: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds} giving Snead a set. The turn {a-Clubs} gave Israelashvili two pair, but the river was the {7-Diamonds} and he used his add on for a fresh stack of 30,000.

Kornuth Triples Up With Quads

Niveau 9 : 0/0, 1,200 ante

Chance Kornuth moved all in for 16,800, Roland Israelashvili moved all in for 27,600 and Alex Epstein called putting both at risk.

Chance Kornuth: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Roland Israelashvili: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Alex Epstein: {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The flop {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{a-Spades} gave Kornuth a set and the turn {10-Diamonds} improved him to a full house. The {9-Clubs} river gave Epstein a full house, but it improved Kornuth to quads, tripling him up in the process and sending Israelashvili to the rail.

Winter Adds On; Foxen Joins

Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Alex Epstein opened to 2,500 and Sean Winter called off a stack of 25,000. James Chen then raised on the button to 14,000. Epstein called and Winter complained aloud before moving all in. Chen and Epstein could only call, with the raise too much to re-open the aciton

"Why the f*** do you make it 14?" he asked as the flop came {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Epstein snap-moved all in and Chen used two time extensions before folding.

Alex Epstein: {j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Sean Winter: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The turn {8-Spades} and river {7-Diamonds} could not help Winter who used his add-on. Meanwhile, Alex Foxen joined the table.

Tsang Takes from Snead

Niveau 9 : 0/0, 1,200 ante

Sam Snead opened to 8,200 from the hijack. Anson Tsang, on the cutoff, called. Erik Kurtzman, on the button, called as well.

A flop reading {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} was dealt. Snead bet 12,000. Tsang called. Kurtzman folded.

The turn brought the {a-Hearts} and was checked through to the {q-Clubs} river. Snead fired 27,000. Tsang raised to 60,000. Snead thought for a long while, using one of his time bank cards, then made the call. He showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a nine-high straight but that wasn't good enough as Tsang revealed {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a Broadway straight to win the pot.

Chen Eliminated by Epstein After Momentary Confusion

Niveau 10 : 0/0, 1,500 ante

On a {8-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop Alex Epstein checked to James Chen who bet 5,000. Epstein check-raised to 20,000 and Chen re-raised all in for around 35,000. Epstein called.

James Chen: {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Alex Epstein: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river {9-Clubs} gave Chen two pair. Epstein let out a frustrated noise and the pot was awarded to Chen. However, before the next hand the players at the table realised that Epstein had in fact rivered a straight, with his ace doubling as the bottom end of a nine-high straight.

The floor was called and the pot was awarded in Epstein's favour sending Chen to the rail.
