At 2 p.m. local time in Las Vegas, Day 2 of Event #86: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship will begin with the 113 players who bagged overnight returning to action.
However, with late registration open until the start of play and with a fresh 60,000 stack worth 30 big blinds, the number of entrants is set to increase.
One player who will be glad he joined the action on Day 1 is Felix Bleiker (425,400) who rose to the top of the chip counts by the end of the night.
Recent Event #51: $2,500 Mixed Omaha champion Yuri Dzivielevski (329,000), John Andress (329,000), Andrey Pateychuk (320,300), Mustapha Kanit (285,400), and Sergi Reixach (278,600) are also well positioned for Day 2.
The field comprised of a whole host of respected players such name as David Peters (213,200), John Hennigan (188,500), Barry Hutter (156,100), Ben Heath (149,700), Jennifer Tilly (117,600), Nick Schulman (115,000), Alex Foxen (105,300), Andras Nemeth (103,600), Robert Mizrachi (96,800), Sam Greenwood (84,800), and Stephen Chidwick (62,500), all of whom return today.
Play will begin at the start of level 11, with blinds at 1,000-2,000 and a 2,000 big blind ante.
There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels, with a 60-minute dinner break scheduled for the end of level 26.
Full prize pool and payout information will be posted once announced by the Tournament Director following the seating of all late registrations.

The Day 2 action is underway. There is big news in terms of the players registering before the start of play.
Late entry has officially closed and it looks like there were 24 new entries at the start of the day. Among those are Preben Stokkan, Scott Seiver, Brandon Adams, defending champion and Player of the Year challenger Shaun Deeb, and former WSOP Main Event champion Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson. It looks like the total number will be around 272 players but the official number has yet to be confirmed.

Sam Soverel was one of the first players eliminated on Day 2 of the tournament. He three-bet all in from the small blind when the player on the button raised to 12,000. He as snapped off and they opened up.
Soverel was looking good for the double up with against but the runout sent him packing.

The board fell , and with a straight on the board, Christoph Vogelsang bet 23,500 into a 20,000 pot from the big blind.
The recently entered Ryan Riess was the player with the decision to make sat in the cutoff position and thought for a minute before he gave up, and Vogelsang won the pot.

As mentioned earlier, one of the Day 2 entrants who sat down with a fresh 60,000 stack was Shaun Deeb.
Deeb won his fourth WSOP bracelet in this event last year after a heads-up victory over Paul Volpe.
Interestingly, Deeb is joined at his table by Volpe as the two rivals look set to continue their battle.
In Deeb's most recent hand, Dong Chen raised to 4,500 from the cutoff and Deeb three-bet to 14,000 from the big blind.
Chen thought about his next move for 30 seconds but ultimately gave up and Deeb took the pot.

Robert Mizrachi raised to 4,000 from the cutoff and big blind Bryn Kenney defended. The flop was dealt and Kenney quickly checked. Mizrachi bet 5,000 and Kenney called.
The turn was the and both players checked this time and the river card completed the board. Kenney led out with a bet of 20,000 on the river which was about a pot-sized bet.
Mizrachi didn't waste any time calling and Kenney tabled . Mizrachi showed and he took the pot down.

Davidi Kitai raised to 4,000 from under the gun and his Winamax Pro teammate Mustapha Kanit three-bet to 10,600 from the cutoff.
The action folded around Gary Hasson in the big blind, and he moved all in for 59,900.
Kitai folded, and Kanit asked for the count before he called.
