Michael Mizrachi, Grind On the Mind

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi opened the pot for 675 and faced a three-bet from the player in the cutoff to 2,100. The other players folded.

If Mizrachi has folded to a three-bet this deep, it has yet to be documented, and in this instance Mizrachi threw in the call.

The flop was {5-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}.

Mizrachi check-called a bet of 2,000. The turn card was the {8-Spades} and a check from Mizrachi saw his opponent bet a heftier 7,000. Mizrachi had seen enough and let him have the pot.

Andrew Brokos River Decisions Vs Jagdeep Singh

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

Jagdeep Singh was in the big blind and had got to the river of a board reading {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} with about 25,000 in the pot.

Singh had bet 16,000 and action was on Andrew Brokos who stared his man down for several minutes. A bit too long for another player’s liking and the clock was called.

Before the ten second countdown began Brokos called. Singh showed {10-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flopped full house which elicited a nod from Brokos.

Brokos opened the next pot and with Singh in the small blind check-calling they again reached the river heads up. The board read {q-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} this time and Singh bet 3,500. Brokos took little time before mucking his hand.
