Jordan Zynda, who finished 875th for $15,000 in this event last year, used the MyStack app to tell the world he had already doubled up. We walked by to get the details of the hand, as someone with a 100,000 stack after in Level 1 is always worth a visit.
Zynda told us that he opened to 400 under the gun plus one on his still 5-handed table. Three players called, and they took a flop of . The small blind decided to lead out and Zynda was the only caller, the other two players folded.
As the hit the turn, the small blind checked. Zynda bet 1,100 and saw his opponent check-raise to 3,500. Zynda just called and saw the complete the board. The small blind bet 5,000. Zynda raised to 17,500 and saw his opponent move all in. Zynda called with his quads and his opponent tabled for the flopped flush.
Zynda is up to double starting stack.
