Baxter tabled {8-Spades}{4-Spades} for a turned pair of eights, and Knoppers mucked.

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With a substantial pot of about 50,000 already brewing and the completed board reading {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}, Gregor Waltermann checked from the big blind to his lone opponent, [Removed:153] on the button. Stenholm bet 32,000 and Waltermann went into the tank. He eventually check-raised to what looked like 75,000, Stenholm folded, and Waltermann took the pot.

Craft Rivers Pair to Win

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a board of {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} with around 15,000 in the middle, Mickey Craft's lone opponent in the hand had a single orange T$5,000 chip placed in front of him.

Craft responded with a raise to 10,000, and after a few minutes of deliberation, Craft's opponent three-bet to 37,000.

Craft swiftly called as the river of the {7-Diamonds} completed the board and both players checked.

Craft tabled his {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} triumphantly, and after a few seconds, his opponent mucked.

As Craft was pushed the pot, he moved his stack to upwards of 580,000 in chips.

Sam Greenwood Goes Runner-Runner Flush to Double Through Ariel Mantel

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Sam Greenwood raised to 2,500 in middle position and Ariel Mantel three-bet to 8,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Greenwood called. They went heads up to the flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Greenwood checked. Mantel bet another 8,000 and Greenwood moved all in for 45,100 total. Mantel thought for a long while and eventually pushed forward chips to call.

Greenwood: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Mantel: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

Mantel was well ahead with his queens against Greenwood's pair of tens with a queen kicker. The {5-Spades} turn gave Greenwood flush outs, and the {7-Spades} river completed the flush. Greenwood collected the double-up, and Mantel put his head down on the table for several seconds to take in the beat he just took for just more than half of his stack.

Berger Makes the Wrong Call as Ortiz Surpasses 200k

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Seth Berger
Seth Berger

We caught up with Seth Berger and Jose Ortiz involved in a pot on the river. The board showed {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Berger had made a bet of 10,600 into a pot of roughly 15,500. Ortiz was in the cutoff seat and he reraised, making it a total of 40,000 to call.

Berger was deep in the tank and was thinking for roughly two minutes when Ortiz called the clock. A floor man came over, and when Berger's countdown hit 10, he announced a called.

"Three fives," Ortiz said, showing {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

"F#$@!" Berger said, frustratedly mucking his hand and stacking out the chips to send over.

Nelson Busts One

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On the table of Cherish Andrews, there was a raise to 2,400 and Dustin Nelson three-bet to 7,000 from one seat over to receive a call by the initial raiser. The flop came {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Nelson called a bet worth 6,000 before doing so for 12,000 on the {Q-Clubs} turn.

The {2-Spades} appeared on the river and Nelson's opponent moved all in. Nelson asked for a count and gave it some consideration before making the call. He was shown {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for trip aces and Nelson had that beat with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for a full house.

Some table talk emerged and Nelson added, "He would have ace-four or ace-deuce."

Mikhal Khabarov's Chip Stack Finally Falls

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Mikhal Khabarov bagged 45,000 on Day 1a a few days ago.

Unfortunately for Khabarov, he never showed here on Day 2ab and his chip stack has been anteing and blinding away for nearly seven hours now.

On Khabarov's would-be final hand, he was in the small blind for his last 600, and when two people saw the flop, he would officially be eliminated from the tournament.
