Nikita Nikolaev Shows Pratyush Buddiga One

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Pratyush Buddiga
Pratyush Buddiga

After a limp from the player in the cutoff, Pratyush Buddiga raised, making it 5,000 to play. Next to act was Nikita Nikolaev in the small blind, and he re-raised, making it a total of 11,400. Action folded around, and Buddiga called.

The flop came down {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and both players checked to see the {9-Spades} on the turn. Nikolaev bet 12,500, and Buddiga called. The river was the {6-Clubs}, and Nikolaev led out again, this time for 37,000. Buddiga leaned back and squinted his eyes. He licked his lips and stared at the board for at least a minute and a half, then finally decided to release.

Nikolaev was pushed the pot, and as he collected his chips, he showed the {Q-Clubs}. Buddiga nodded, then began to count out what was left of his stack.

Gregor Waltermann Soaring

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With a huge pot of about 65,000 already brewing and the completed board reading {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}, Gregor Waltermann was in middle position and bet 36,000 into his lone opponent, in the cutoff. After some consideration, he called, and Waltermann flipped over {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for the nut flush. The cutoff mucked, and Waltermann took the pot to chip up substantially.

Eric Sfez Eliminates One and Adds to His Towers

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Eric Sfez raised from the cutoff, and the player on the button moved all in for about 40,000. Sfez thought about it for a short while and eventually called.

The button was at risk with {a-}{q-}, flipping with Sfez's {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and the button flopped top two pair, ready to receive the double-up. Unfortunately for him, the turn was the {9-Hearts}, and Sfez made a set of nines. The river was the {j-Hearts}, and the button was sent to the rail.

Sfez added more chips to his growing stack and now sits with 405,000 after starting the day with 167,000.

Dan Colman Sends One Home

Niveau 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Dan Colman (earlier this series)
Dan Colman (earlier this series)

With a completed board of {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {A-Clubs} and around 22,000 in the pot, Dan Colman was in the big blind facing an all-in bet of 12,800 from the player in the cutoff.

Colman thought for a little while and then called. His opponent tabled {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, and Colman's {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for eights and fives was good for the knockout.

Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams was short earlier today before doubling through Naoya Kihara and stacking just 14,000 chips. He has been slowly working his stack back up throughout the day, first getting to 30,000 and then onward. Just now, he doubled up with a full house and is suddenly around 150,000.

Adams was heads-up with the board reading {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and his opponent checked. Adams bet 11,400, and his opponent called. The river was the {6-Diamonds}, and Adams shoved all in for 37,000 after his opponent checked again. His opponent called quickly, and Adams showed {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for a full house. His opponent mucked.

Chris Hunichen

On the turn of a board {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}, with roughly 35,000 in the pot, Mike Ross checked over to Chris Hunichen, who bet 23,500. Ross took some time before calling, and the river landed the {J-Diamonds}. He checked again. Hunichen announced that he was all in and pushed out his stack that amounted to roughly 135,000.

Ross shook his head back and forth and broke down his stack to reveal he had 83,900 remaining.

Eventually, Ross opted to muck, and Hunichen climbed to 217,000 in chips.
