Gillis Holds

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

A player in middle position moved all in for her remaining 6,350. A player on the button called and Ted Gillis, in the big blind, re-raised all in for 21,900. The button tanked for several minutes and eventually folded. Gillis showed {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and the all in players tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Gillis improved to a full house, taking down a very nice pot.

Tai Nguyen Gets Double K.O.

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

In a massive three-way all in pre-flop Tai Nguyen had the two other players covered.

Tai Nguyen: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Dube: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Other opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The flop was {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Dube took the lead in the hand. The turn was the {7-Clubs} giving Nguyen the flush draw and the river hit it when the {8-Clubs} was turned over, shipping a massive pot that looked to be about 50,000 over to Nguyen. In an angry emotional out burst, the player named Dube came back over to berate nguyen for pushing all in with jacks. He direct some profanities at Nguyen and was asked by the tournament director to leave the area. He eventually did so while throwing bottles and yelling some more profanities. Nguyen in a show of class, didn't react to him at all and allowed the situation to defuse itself. Nguyen appears to be the chipleader at the moment.

Kassouf Wins With a River Bet

Niveau 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

With about 12,000 chips already in the pot and the completed board reading {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{Q-Spades}, William Kassouf was in the cutoff and heads-up against a player in middle position, who checked. Kassouf bet 7,000, and his opponent went into the tank.

"I don't wanna nit-roll you," said Kassouf's opponent.

"Only way you can nit-roll is if you have an ace in your hand," replied Kassouf.

"Okay, you win this one," said Kassouf's opponent a few moments later as he mucked his hand.

Kassouf showed the {10-Clubs} and took the pot.

A third ace came on the flop to hammer the hand home, and Mizzi lost nearly half his stack to drop to 6,500.
