After a raise from Jon Turner from under the gun, a player a few seats over bumped it up to 1,700. It folded back around to Turner, and he tossed all his big chips forward, having his opponent covered.
His opponent had about 6,000 behind, and some playful banter ensued. "Do you want a call?" he asked.
Turner responded, "Frankly yes. I want to get chips or bust so I can go rebuy."
"This hand has been 0-for-5 all in preflop so far at this table. Will you show if I fold?" his opponent came back with.
"I'll do what he did," Turner said, pointing to another player at the table. "If you show I show."
After some more tanking, the player said "I told myself I was going to fold this. Now I don't know."
Eventually, he announced a fold and flashed 
. Turner obliged and showed 
, meaning it would have been a flip.
As it is, Turner scooped the pot to get himself off to a nice start, having just recently registered.
A player raised to 1,200 before the flop, and Valentin Vornicu, who was next to act, shoved for about 8,000. Action folded back around to the original raiser, and after some consideration, he called to put Vornicu at risk.

Vornicu was flipping for his stack and needed help from the deck in order to double up. The flop fell

POY hopeful Chris Ferguson made a preflop move with 
after Alon Guttman opened on the button. Ferguson had about 9,000 chips remaining and was called by Guttman, who tabled
