Addamo Builds; Vornicu Not Yet

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

After finding resistance on two previous streets, Michael Addamo on the button bet 16,000 into a pot of as many chips with the river reading {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and his opponent in the small blind gave it some thought before releasing his cards.

Valentin Vornicu, who is well known to run up stacks rather quickly, however, experienced the quite opposite fate. After three limpers, Vornicu in the cutoff made it 1,700 to go with 11,000 behind and the big blind reraised to 5,300. That was enough to scare away everyone including the current record WSOP circuit ring winner.

Furth Takes Down the Pot

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

The flop showed {j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, a player in late position bet 3,000, and Caleb Furth called from the button. The turn was the {k-Clubs}, both players checked, and the river fell the {2-Diamonds}.

Action checked to Furth who fired out a bet of 6,700 and his opponent slowly but surely made the call. Furth tabled {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a rivered flush and his opponent mucked their hand.

Somerville Folds the River

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Jason Somerville and Ky Nguyen saw an {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Spades} flop together and both players checked.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and Nguyen bet out 2,000. Somerville called to see the {3-Spades} river complete the board. Nguyen bet again and this time he put in 3,500. Somerville took another peek at his cards and then back at the table. He ended up throwing his hand in the muck, sending the pot to Nguyen.

Salehizadeh Gets a Fold From Griener

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Nima Salehizadeh opened from under the gun to 800 and it was called by another player and Jared Griener in the small blind.

The flop showed {3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Griener checked. Salehizadeh continued for 1,400 and the action folded back to Griener who called. Both players checked the {5-Hearts} on the turn and the river fell a {4-Diamonds}. Griener checked and faced a bet worth 2,400 from Salehizadeh. Griener tanked for some time, and after looking at his cards once more, he ended up conceding the pot to Salehizadeh.

Johan Schumacher
Johan Schumacher

The flop was showing {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and around 8,000 was already in the middle when the big blind player bet 3,000 and Johan Schumacher made the call.

The turn fell {j-Spades} and Schumacher bet 6,500 after his opponent checked. After some thinking, the latter called and a {7-Clubs} appeared on the river. The big blind player checked and Schumacher did the same. Schumacher's opponent tabled {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, but was dominated by {j-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for Schumacher who grabbed the pot.

Aerts Takes From Nawabi

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

The board read {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades} and there was about 6,500 in the middle already. Both Yosif Nawabi (small blind) and David Bromberg (early position) checked. Pieter Aerts bet 4,500 and only Nawabi called.

The board was completed with the {7-Hearts} and Nawabi checked. Aerts contemplated all his options and then decided to just check. Nawabi tabled {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the rivered two pair and was beaten by the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} of Aerts who had turned a set of fives to scoop the pot.

Elezra Blows Klodnicki's Cover

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante
Chris Klodnicki
Chris Klodnicki

There has been plenty of table talk at Table #400 and as Chris Klodnicki sat down he began to chat it up with Eli Elezra. "You don't know this guy. Google him, he's a professional," Elezra said to his neighbor at the table Roman Kagan.

A hand was dealt and Klodnicki raised to 800 from late position. The player next to act took his headphones out and asked the dealer what the raise was. "Oh, he hasn't heard anything," joked Elezra. "That guy is not a professional. He works at McDonalds."

The player folded and both Radwon Khuri and Elezra called. They saw a flop of {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Elezra checked. Klodnicki bet 1,200 and both players called. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and the action checked around.

The {k-Diamonds} hit the river and Elezra checked to Klodnicki who bet 5,000. Both players quickly folded and Klodnicki dragged in the pot. As he was stacking his chips, Roman Kagan showed his phone to Elezra and sure enough there was a picture of Klodnicki on the screen. "See, you think we won't Google you up," said Elezra, and the table burst out in laughter.

Reimers Building a Stack

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

The board read {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}, an opponent under the gun checked, the hijack bet 1,650, and Matthew Reimers raised to 4,200. Both of his opponents called and the {4-Hearts} fell on the turn.

Action checked to Reimers who bet 12,400, the under-the-gun opponent folded and the hijack made the call. The {q-Clubs} came on the river and both players decided to check.

The hijack tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a missed straight draw and Reimers showed {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for rivered trips, taking down the pot.
