Tuan Le raised to 1,000 from middle position and Christopher Berger called from the cutoff. The player in the small blind called and they went three-handed to the {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop.

The small blind checked and Le continued with a bet of 1,500. Berger called and the small blind quickly folded. They went heads-up to the {a-Spades} turn and Le bet 3,000. Berger called and the {7-Clubs} completed the board.

Le fired out a bet of 7,000, Berger called and Le turned over {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for trip aces with a king kicker to take the pot.

The room is starting to buzz with voices and splashing chips once more and the remaining 38 minutes of level four will be played, then a 15-minute break takes place before the final two-hour level of the day will wrap up Day 1b at approximately 11.15 p.m. local time.

Altman Applies Pressure

Brian Altman and one other player were still in with a {j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board already out.

There was already more than 50,000 in the pot and Altman was first to act. He lead for 45,000 and it sent his opponent into the tank for a few minutes, before he decided the best thing to do was to fold. Altman has built up a lot over the last level and has now exceeded the 100,000 mark.

Patel Takes from Buck

Joining the action on the {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} turn, Lisa Buck checked out of the small blind and Kevin Patel in the cutoff bet 7,000. Buck check-raised to 15,000 and Patel called. On the {J-Diamonds} river, Buck quickly bet 25,000 and Patel called without much hesitation.

Buck shook her head and briefly flashed {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a failed bluff, Patel claimed the pot with {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a set of sixes.

Meijer van Putten Makes Opponent Fold

Charlie Godwin raised from early position and one seat over Jasper Meijer van Putten called. Another player on the cutoff three-bet to 4,000 and Meijer van Putten was the only player to call.

The flop came down {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Meijer van Putten check-called an 8,000 bet. They both checked on the {6-Hearts} turn and when the {7-Hearts} river was put on the board Meijer van Putten bet 13,000.

His opponent folded and Meijer van Putten took down the pot.

Brandon Meyers opened up to 800 from the hijack and both of the blinds called. The flop came down {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}, action checked to Meyers who bet 2,000 and only the big blind opponent made the call.

The {4-Hearts} fell on the turn, action checked to Meyers who fired out 6,000 and his opponent thought for a moment, but in the end made the fold.

Herzali Called on River

On a raised pot in a heads-up hand, the flop was showing {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs} when Sarah Herzali (big blind) check-called her opponent's bet of 500.

The turn brought them a {q-Diamonds} and Herzali first checked, before raising to 4,200 a bet worth 2,000 from her opponent. The latter called and a {6-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Herzali fired 7,300, putting her opponent into a decision. After a few minutes, he eventually made the call and Herzali showed {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for ace high. Her opponent, holding {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, won the pot.
