Vega Adds to Stack

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

With 11,600 in the pot and five players seeing the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, Miguel Vega bet 3,600 in middle position and only an early position player continued.

The {8-Spades} saw a check-call by the early position player after a 5,000 bet by Vega.

Both players checked the {j-Spades} river and Vega showed {k-Spades}{10-Hearts} to take the pot and add the chips to his sizable stack.

Big Double for Lau

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Ka Kwan Lau
Ka Kwan Lau

Ka Kwan Lau was all-in on a completed board of {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and his remaining stack by then was 34,000. Only Richard Geyer III was still to act and tank-called to get shown the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} by Lau, which won the pot as Geyer III mucked his cards.

According to the Spaniard, it was a three-way four-bet pot preflop in which he three-bet and then just called a four-bet to 8,000. Lau called a small bet on the flop and turn before they got it in after the river. Geyer III had been among the early big stacks and has seen his stack more than halved from the peak.

Akopov Gets It In with Jacks

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Boris Akopov has been looking for action with his short stack for a few hands prior to open-shoving for just less than 13,000 from early position. An opponent in late position called.

Boris Akopov: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and the jacks held off big-slick to give Akopov the double.

Alcorn Eliminated in Four-Way All-In

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Heather Alcorn
Heather Alcorn

Heather Alcorn had lost the vast majority of her stack when she flopped a set of kings and ran into a set of aces. She then shoved for very few chips and was called multiple ways. Three players stuck around to the {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades} turn and that's when a four-way all-in showdown emerged.

Heather Alcorn: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Chad Cullimore: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Jeremy Heiskanen: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Mikki Mase: {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Mase was the biggest stack but Heiskanen had a lock on the entire pot with the turned nut straight and flush redraw. A meaningless {k-Hearts} river knocked out two players while Mase was left short.

Mase then got it in for 6,800 and Heiskanen called.

Mikki Mase: {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Jeremy Heiskanen: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Mase asked for a ten and got his wish granted on the {8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board to double his short stack.

Nearly Maxx Value for Coleman

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Peter Gould raised to 700 and Philippe Culot min-clicked to 1,200. Maxx Coleman then four-bet to 4,000 and was called by one opponent only. The flop came {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} and Coleman bet 3,500 for his opponent to call. Coleman then check-called for 6,000 on the {7-Diamonds} turn and bet the {7-Clubs} river for 10,000.

He was called and won the pot with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} as the opponent mucked {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} face up.

Liu Spikes the River

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
JJ Liu
JJ Liu

One hand after Eliran Yamin avoided disaster against a pair of tens, he was facing a bet from JJ Liu on the {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop. Yamin raised Liu's bet of 6,700 to 15,000 and called instantly when Liu re-raised all-in.

JJ Liu: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Eliran Yamin: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

Yamin was way ahead with a flopped full house, and the turn {4-Clubs} changed nothing. The table then reacted in awe as the {10-Spades} river gave Liu the winning hand, doubling her stack.

Kanit Chipping Up

Niveau 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

The board had been completed to read {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Mustapha Kanit bet 5,800 over to his opponent Donald White who called.

Kanit showed the {k-Spades}{q-Spades} which was good enough as White flashed the {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and sent the pot to Kanit who has doubled his starting stack.
