Aces Hold for Seimas

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Trevor Pearlman raised to 800 from under the gun and Manig Loeser called from the hijack before Joseph Seimas three-bet to 2,800 from the cutoff.

Action folded back to Pearlman who called, as did Loeser, and the three players watched a {j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop hit the felt.

Action was checked to Seimas who continued for 1,800 and only Pearlman called. The {7-Diamonds} turn was checked by both players and the dealer dropped the {5-Diamonds} on the river.

Seimas check-called the 6,000 bet from Pearlman and quickly showed {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} to win the pot while Pearlman tossed {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} into the muck.

Huge Pot Launches Cheng Up Leaderboard

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

A massive pot just developed at table 503, as Gary Cheng opened on the button to 1,000 and was three-bet by Hiroki Nawa in the small blind to 4,000. Cheng responded with a four-bet to 10,000, which Nawa called.

The flop came {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} and both players checked.

The action picked up again on the turn as Nawa led for 5,200 on the {2-Diamonds}, which Cheng raised to 14,500. After some deliberation, Nawa called.

The river brought the {5-Hearts} and Nawa checked to Cheng, who didn't slow down. He bet 32,000, leaving himself just 22,000 behind.

Nawa went deep into the tank, thinking for over five minutes before Andrew Brinkley called for the clock.

A floorman came over and gave Nawa the 30-second countdown. As the count hit 'one', Nawa tossed in calling chips.

Cheng showed {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Nawa unhappily tossed his cards into the muck.

Cheng is now among the day's chip leaders with that pot.

Luber Takes from Mathews

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Graham Mathews opened to 900 on the button and Benjamin Luber decided to three-bet to 3,100 in the big blind. Mathews tanked for a minute and made the call.

The flop revealed {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Luber continued for 2,500. Mathews didn't take long to fold his hand.

Miyamoto Takes it on the River

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Mark Newhouse raised to 1,000 from middle position, the button called and Masakazu Miyamoto called in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} and Miyamoto checked to Newhouse who continued for 1,600. The button folded and Miyamoto made the call.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and both players checked to see the {8-Clubs} on the river. Miyamoto fired out a bet of 5,000 and Newhouse snap-mucked.

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and Rusinovas continued for 1,100, called by his opponent. Both checked on the {a-Clubs} turn and {4-Hearts} river. Rusinovas showed {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and the pot was sent to his opponent who held {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a pair of eights.

Thomas' Turn Bet Takes It

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

The under-the-gun player raised to 1,000, a player called from a couple of spots over and the cutoff called before Russell Thomas defended the big blind.

On the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop nobody put any chips in and the {7-Spades} hit the turn. Thomas fired out a bet of 3,000 and all three opponents quickly folded, sending the pot to Thomas.
