Early Trips for Nakamura

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante
Tamon Nakamura
Tamon Nakamura

Tamon Nakamura opened to 600 in middle position and called when former PokerNews presenter Oliver Biles three-bet to 2,000.

Nakamura checked on the flop reading {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Biles checked back. Nakamura checked again on the {j-Diamonds} turn and called when his opponent bet 1,700.

Nakamura checked a third time on the {10-Hearts} river and Biles checked back. Nakamura turned over {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for trip tens and Biles mucked.

Salko Imsirovic

Ali Imsirovic and his family are on the rail today sweating the patriarch of the family, Salko Imsirovic.

Ali surprised his dad by putting him into the tournament, his first-ever WSOP event.

In the early going it's been like son, like father, as Salko has chipped up to 65,500.

Newhouse Cracks Two Pocket Aces

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante
Mark Newhouse
Mark Newhouse

After a series of raises preflop, Mark Newhouse was at risk for a little over 45,000 against two opponents.

Mark Newhouse: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent One: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Opponent Two: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Newhouse had run his pocket kings into two players who both had pocket aces and the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop wasn't looking good for him as his king-high flush draw was no good. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} changing nothing and the board completed with the {k-Hearts} on the river, giving Newhouse a set of kings to crack aces early in the tournament.

Martini Takes From Campbell

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

With 4,100 in the pot and a flop of {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, Julien Martini checked in the hijack and Robert Campbell bet 1,200 in the cutoff. Martini responded with a raise to 4,100, which prompted the 2019 WSOP Player of the Year to lay down his hand.

McLaughlin Loses Some Chips

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

In a three-way pot, the board read {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} when Marc Etienne McLaughlin bet 1,100 after a check from the blind blind. Only the player on the button called.

A {6-Hearts} fell on the river and this time McLaughlin, who final tabled the 2013 WSOP Main Event, quickly check-folded after a bet worth 1,300 from his opponent.

Zinno Loses a Small Pot

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

With 4,800 in the middle and the completed board showing {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, Anthony Zinno bet 1,600 and was called by his two opponents. Zinno tabled the {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for the top pair but the button had that beat with {8-Spades}{7-Spades} for two pair.

Dylan Wilkerson then sat down right as the hand ended and can be found one seat over from Zinno.

Deutsch Wins an Early Pot

Niveau 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Heading to the {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} turn, the big blind made it 4,300 to go and Jason Deutsch called on the button. The {k-Diamonds} on the river was checked and the big blind tabled the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. However, Deutsch had that beat with the {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a pair of queens to win the pot.

At the same table is also Maria Ho, who delivered the shuffle up and deal for Day 1d.
