Wheeler Chips Up in Showdown

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

Jason Wheeler three-bet to 3,200 on the button and was called by the hijack, who then check-called the {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop for 3,000. The {a-Spades} turn triggered a bet worth 8,000 by the hijack and Wheeler called. After the {a-Hearts} river, the hijack bet another 15,000 to earn an instant call from Wheeler and flashed the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, which Wheeler had beat with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for trips aces.

Kulscar Dents Volpe's Stack

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Paul Volpe and Gergely Kulscar were heads-up on the river with the board showing {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Kulscar, from the small blind, bet 5,500 and action was on Volpe in middle position.

Volpe tanked for a few minutes before eventually calling. Kulscar turned over {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for the rivered straight and Volpe mucked.

"Bad river," Volpe said as he dropped below 50,000.

Ioli Beats Saechao After "Worst Call in History"

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Heads-up to the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} turn, Mark Ioli and Kao "Flex" Saechao both checked. Ioli then bet the {6-Clubs} river for 2,800 and Saechao sighed. "This might be the worst call in history," he said in a semi-serious way.

Another player at the table remarked "you gotta call with ace-ten" and five seconds later, Saechao called. Ioli rolled over the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Saechao exposed his {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens to lose a small portion of his stack.

Ethan "Rampage Poker" Yau raised to 1,000 from middle position and then called the 3,200 three-bet Sean Osman made form the button.

Osman called and the {a-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Yau led out once again, this time for 12,000 only to fold after Osman tossed out a 75,000 raise.

Kenny Rivers Needed Ace

Niveau 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Moments ago a large gasp was heard from the Amazon Purple section and one disappointed player was speed-walking for the door.

Michael Kenny was seen taking in a large pot after he called the shove of his opponent on the turn with {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} on the board.

Opponent: {8-}{8-}
Michael Kenny: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Kenny's opponent had three eights but the river was {a-Spades} and Kenny took advantage of the miracle ace to move among the chip leaders.
