Chris Hunichen bet 17,500 on the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} river with approximately 20,000 in the middle and his opponent called.

Hunichen tabled {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for the broadway straight and dragged the pot.

On the next hand, Hunichen called 1,200 to see the flop {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} three-ways. The player in seat one bet 2,000 and Hunichen raised to 6,000.

Seat one called to see the turn {8-Diamonds} and check-called a bet of 12,000 from Hunichen.

The river was the {9-Spades} and the action went check-check. Seat one tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for a rivered straight and Hunichen shook his head and mucked.

With 4,500 in the pot and {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} on the board, the small blind bet 2,600. A player in the big blind called and Eli Elezra came along from middle position.

The river was {q-Spades} and the blinds checked. Elezra bet 6,000 and the small blind called. The big blind got out of the way.

Elezra turned over {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for the flush and his opponent threw the losing hand in the muck.

On the feature table stream, Joe Hachem raised to 1,200 from the cutoff. Andros Ioakimides flat called from the small blind and the big blind defended.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{k-Spades}. Hachem continued for a bet of 1,300, Ioakimides raised to 3,600 and the big blind folded, Hachem called.

The turn was the {4-Clubs}. Hachem bet 10,000 into a pot of 11,300. and was called again.

The river came the {a-Diamonds}. Hachem bet 30,000 of his remaining 36,000, Ioakimides shifted in his seat uncomfortably but called.

Hachem showed the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for the set while Iokimides was bested holding the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

Nunez Wins Multiway Pot, No Showdown

Emilio Nunez opened to 1,200 from under the gun and was called by players in early position, middle position, on the button, and in the big blind.

Nunez continued for 2,600 on a {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop. He was called by the player in early position and the big blind.

The turn card came the {2-Hearts} which did not slow Nunez down. He fired 8,200 resulting in all his opponents folding to scoop the pot.

Angel Gets Massive Double After Long Tank

Seth Angel put out a bet of 17,000 on a board of {5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Clubs} before his opponent moved all in, covering his last 40,000. Angel went into the tank for several minutes, apologizing to the table while having a pained look on his face.

"Day 1 shove it all in," he said, pondering the decision. He eventually called with {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for bottom set, while his opponent turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for two pair.

Angel held on the {j-Hearts} river to double up. "I thought he had that but it was still not a good feeling," he said.

Maurice Hawkins was spotted on his way out of the tournament area and the board was still tabled. It showed the {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Rodney Levingston claimed the pot with the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut flush. According to Asvin Ganesh, the money had only gone in after the river and Hawkins ended up second-best with {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for an inferior flush.
