Boeree Stacks One After Flopping Straight, Improving to Flush

Niveau 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree

Liv Boeree checked on a flop reading {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and called an opponent's bet of 7,000, while a third player in the hand folded.

The opponent bet 15,000 on the {2-Clubs} turn and Boeree check-raised to 35,000. The opponent moved all-in and Boeree snap-called.

Opponent: {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Liv Boeree: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Boeree had the nut straight against the two pair of her opponent and also had a redraw to a royal flush. Boeree improved to a flush on the {4-Hearts} river and sent the opponent to the rail.

"Pretty decent flop," someone at the table noted.

Dan Lowery

On the {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop with about 30,000 in the middle, action checked to Daniel Lowery and he fired in four orange chips for a total bet of 20,000. His opponent thought about it for two minutes before deciding to fold.

Another player at the table asked for the player folding to show and he obliged, tabling {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Lowery raked in the pot without showing.

Influence of Table #508 Spreading

Niveau 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Danny Chang bet 4,000 on a board of {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Jordan Jayne called. The river came the {9-Hearts} and Chang bet another 12,500.

Jayne responded with a raise to around 35,000 and Chang quickly folded.

This table has started a trend where they give a player who gets a walk in the big blind a standing ovation. It has happened seven times so far today. Other tables in the Orange section, hearing the noise coming from here, have adopted the practice and a round of clapping is heard every few minutes.

Moneymaker Eliminates Reyes with Aces Against Kings

Niveau 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

(Hand took place during blind levels on the PokerGO stream, which is on a 45-minute delay)

Action picked up with Chris Moneymaker four-betting to 40,500 with {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} against the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} of Bryan Reyes, who called. The flop came out {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Reyes checked it over to the former world champ who downsized his bet to 25,000.

Reyes called to see the {5-Hearts} on the turn and he checked it again. Moneymaker fired out a bet of 65,000 and his opponent moved all-in for 203,000. Moneymaker, who had him covered, tanked for a couple minutes before making the call.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and the 2003 Main Event champion is now a major factor in the 2021 Main Event. Reyes went from over 350,000 to out in a matter of moments, most to Moneymaker.

Niveau 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Denise Pratt
Denise Pratt

Denise Pratt raised under the gun to 3,500 and both Lucio Procopio and the player on his left made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} and all three players checked.

The {q-Diamonds} hit the turn and Pratt led out for 5,200 and both opponents called.

The {6-Diamonds} on the river completed the board and once again they all checked. The player in position tabled {k-Spades}{q-Spades} for a pair of queens king-kicker, Pratt tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Procopio mucked his hand.
