Bryne Doubles Through Neiman

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Melissa Bryne
Melissa Bryne

With 45,000 in the pot and {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Hearts} on the board, Melissa Bryne bet 25,000 from early position and Philip Neiman called from the button.

The river was {5-Clubs} and Bryne shoved 85,500. Neiman went deep into the tank for several minutes.

"Will you show if I fold?" Neiman asked.

"I'm probably not going to give out free information," Bryne answered.

Neiman eventually called and Bryne turned over {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the flush. Neiman showed {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the disappointing smaller flush and Bryne scored a big Day 3 double.

Hildebrand Doubles Through Lowery

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

"Rivered again," Daniel Lowery said and Per Hildebrand nodded. The Swede had just doubled through Lowery as his {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} made a set on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} board for Hildebrand to remain in contention. Lowery still has a pretty solid stack and only trails Robert Cowen on the same table.

Picking up the action on a completed board of {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, Jared Jaffee and Antoine Sankari were heads-up in a pot. With around 60,000 in the middle, Jaffe checked from the big blind and Sankari shoved all in for around 87,000.

Jaffe thought for a minute and looked back at his cards before sending them to the muck. Sankari was awarded the pot and turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} as he missed a straight draw.

Dragana Lim
Dragana Lim

Dragana Lim just dragged in a bigger pot with pocket jacks and was then involved in three-way action. She bet the {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} turn for 10,000 and received one call. The {q-Hearts} river was checked and Lim tabled the {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, which ended up second-best to {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

"I am glad the flush didn't come then," Lim said. She was at more than a million right before the last hand and joined Ehsan Amiri in the seven-figure club for a short while.

Sheinin Scores a Double

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player opened to 7,500 in early position and David Sheinin shoved for his last 38,000 from middle position. Action folded around to the player in the big blind, who re-raised to 75,000. The initial raiser folded and hands were revealed.

David Sheinin: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Big blind: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Sheinin had his opponent dominated, and the {3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} runout secured his double up.

Smith Scores a Double Up in the Blinds

Niveau 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The action folded around to Ryan Smith who raised it up from the small blind. Eric Pfenning called from the big blind and they went heads-up to a flop of {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}. Smith led out for 10,000 and Pfenning raised to 34,000 which Smith called.

The turn brought the {9-Hearts} and Smith jammed all in for his last 41,000. Pfenning asked for a count and then made the call to put Smith at risk. Smith rolled over {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for top pair and flush draw. Pfenning showed {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a straight and flush draw.

The river was the {7-Diamonds} which changed nothing and Smith held on for a full double up.
