Stewart Hits Perfect Turn Card to Double

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Scott Stewart raised from under the gun and Michael Sklenicka called out of the big blind. On the flop of {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, both players checked and the {J-Clubs} fell on the turn. Sklenicka bet 225,000 and Stewart called to see the {9-Spades} on the river.

Sklenicka bet 375,000 and Stewart moved all in. "I guess I induced it," Sklenicka said and asked for a count. Stewart was all in for 2,525,000 and Sklenicka added, "I don't think you shove queen-ten for value." Half a minute passed and the Czech called.

Stewart rolled over {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for a full house and Sklenicka mucked his {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a flush. "What a turn card," the Czech sighed and dropped back to 6.5 million chips.

Zhou Takes a Chunk From Crivello

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

From under the gun, Zu Zhou raised to 225,000. [Removed:508] then three-bet to 550,000. Action folded around and Zhou called.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{7-Spades} and Zhou checked over to Crivello. Crivello fired a bet of 800,000 which Zhou called.

On the {Q-Diamonds} turn, both players checked to see the {3-Spades} on the river. Zhou led out for 800,000 and, after about 30 seconds, Crivello called. Zhou showed {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Crivello took a couple looks at his cards before sending them into the muck. That big pot pushed Zhou over the 10-million-chip mark.

Lutes Doubles Through Stewart

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Scott Stewart raised it up to 200,000 from middle position and Travis Lutes was the lone caller from the big blind. The flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} was checked through and the {J-Spades} hit the turn. Lutes bet out 285,000 and Stewart raised it up to 600,000. Lutes called and the {K-Diamonds} completed the board.

Lutes checked it over to Stewart who started to count out his big chips. Stewart thought for about a minute before he dropped a stack in to put Lutes all in. Lutes immediately lifted his cards off the felt and announced call, showing {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a rivered straight.

Stewart's head dropped as he was forced to show {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} for a rivered pair of kings that were no good. Stewart dropped to 3.1 million while Lutes doubled up to just under 4 million.

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Right after break, Pedro Oliveira defended the big blind against a Robin Hegele open to 200,000.

The flop was {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} and Oliveira led for 320,000. Hegele called. The turn was the {a-Spades} and Oliveira bet again, this time making it 640,000. Hegele folded.

In the next hand, Nick Guagenti opened to 250,000 and Hegele asked for a better look at his remaining stack. Guagenti had about 2,400,000 and Hegele raised to 750,000. Guagenti quickly moved all in as soon as the action as back on him and Hegele folded just as quickly.

"What a Weird Hand"

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Randolph Pisane
Randolph Pisane

We picked up the action on the flop of {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} as Bryan Piccioli led from the big blind for 375,000. Randy Pisane in the cutoff called.

The {K-Diamonds} hit the turn and Piccioli checked. Pisane bet 825,000 and Piccioli called.

As the {A-Diamonds} completed the board, Piccioli checked again. Pisane bet 1.2 million and Piccioli tanked for a bit.

"I'm gonna need my 60 seconds here," he said before eventually folding.

"What a weird hand," he continued after his cards had already hit the muck. "I should've just checked. I was the one that made it weird."

Pisane said he had turned a set of kings, something very unlikely according to Piccioli since he claimed to have had a king as well.

Horton Leaves Nahum Short

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

Kfir Nahum raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Joshua Horton three-bet to 750,000 in the big blind, which Nahum quickly called. On the {J-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} flop, Horton checked and called a bet worth 900,000 by Nahum. The {A-Clubs} fell on the turn and Horton checked again.

Nahum announced a bet of 2 million chips and wasn't done with cutting out the chips for it yet when Horton announced all in. Within a second, Nahum said, "I fold," and lost a huge portion of his stack, dropping to just 18 big blinds as a result.
