Trips for Amiri

Niveau 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Ran Ilani raised to 80,000 and was called by Alireza Amiri from one seat over and Anar Khalilov in the big blind. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Khalilov checked, Ilani bet 110,000 and Amiri was the only caller.

After the {a-Clubs} turn, Ilani check-called for 240,000 and the {a-Diamonds} on the river was checked by both players. Amiri tabled the {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for trips aces and that won the pot, as Ilani reluctantly mucked.

Dwek Goes Back-to-Back

Niveau 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jonathan Dwek
Jonathan Dwek

Demosthenes Kiriopoulos opened to 80,000 from under the gun and Jonathan Dwek just flat-called on his left. Aristeidis Moschonas was in the hijack and shipped all in for 740,000. Kiriopoulos asked for a count but decided to fold and Dwek instantly called.

Aristeidis Moschonas: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Jonathan Dwek: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Dwek's pair of tens held on to eliminate Moschonas.

"Back-to-back," Heng Zhang mentioned. Dwek had just eliminated Andy Li in the hand before that.

DeLaGarza Eliminated by Trang

Niveau 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The short stack of JJ DeLaGarza went into the middle with the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and he had a flip against the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} of Christopher Trang. On a board of {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, none of the overcards appeared and that spelled the end for DeLaGarza. He said goodbye to everyone before heading to the payout desk as the field has already plummeted to just 180 hopefuls.
