Turner Doubles Through Mackoff

Niveau 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Turner opened to 175,000 in middle position and Jonas Mackoff defended his big blind. Mackoff checked the {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop and Turner bet 200,000. Mackoff shoved all in and got snap-called.

Turner: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Mackoff: {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Both had flopped two pair, but Turner's was better. The {8-Hearts} turn gave Mackoff outs to a flush but the river was a {2-Spades}.

"I thought even with a snap-call I'd be good there," Mackoff said with a laugh after the hand.

With about 1,200,000 in the pot on a board reading {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, David Guay led out for 785,000 from the cutoff. Matthias De Meulder was on the button and thought for a moment before deciding to call.
