Andreas Kniep raised to 240,000 from the cutoff and Chance Kornuth three-bet to 840,000 on the button. Sean Ragozzini paused in the big blind and stared at Kornuth, who gave Ragozzini an intense staredown as well.

After two minutes, Ragozzini came up with a four-bet to 1,800,000 and Kniep removed himself from the equation.

Back on Kornuth, it was his turn to take several minutes, keeping his gaze locked on Ragozzini the whole time. Ragozzini didn't flinch and kept staring right back at the three-time bracelet winner.

Ultimately, Kornuth open-folded the {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Ragozzini collected the pot.

Campelo Gets Vayssieres to Fold

Niveau 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Nicolas Vayssieres raised to 250,000 from the middle position and Breno Campelo three-bet to 750,000 from the hijack. The action folded back to Vayssieres who looked over to Campelo's stack, counted them out for some kind of estimation on how much Campelo had behind before making the call.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{k-Spades}, Vayssieres check-called the 350,000 continuation-bet of Campelo.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Vayssieres checked again. This time, Campelo fired a bet of 700,000 out for Vayssieres to contemplate it for a bit before opting to fold.

Schulte Doubles Through Campelo

Niveau 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Matthew Schulte opened to 255,000 from under the gun and Breno Campelo three-bet to 725,000 in the cutoff. Schulte four-bet shoved for just under 2,000,000 and Campelo quickly called.

Matthew Schulte: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Breno Campelo: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Schulte was ahead with aces, though the flop of {9-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts} gave his opponent additional outs with a gutshot straight draw.

"Ooh, spicy!" Campelo said when he saw the board.

But Campelo couldn't crack aces as the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Schulte doubled up.

"I was worried about your under the gun open with that stack. I almost folded preflop!" Campelo said, before adding "nah" after a moment's thought.

Quads for Pizzari Pinto

Niveau 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Philipe Pizzari Pinto raised from under the gun and Lewis Spencer defended the big blind. On the {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, both players invested just 200,000 and then opted to check through the {6-Diamonds} turn. The {2-Spades} fell on the river and Spencer led for 1,100,000. Pizzari Pinho raised to 3,700,000 and received a quick call.

"Nuts," the Brazilian announced and flipped over the {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for quads. Spencer briefly flashed what appeared to be {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for the king-high flush and took a hit to his stack.

Two in a Row for Kniep, Amiri Loses Unneccesary Chips

Niveau 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

After Abhinav Iyer was just eliminated, there was a dead small blind and just one big blind. However, Alireza Amiri thought he was the big blind and stuck in the appropriate chips. After a couple of folds and a raise to 240,000 from Andrea Kniep, it was ruled that Amiri's chips would have to stay in the middle.

Sean Ragozzini three-bet to 800,000 on the button and the action folded back to Kniep who stuck in a four-bet to 2,400,000. Ragozzini instantly folded and Kniep took down the pot.

On the next hand, Kniep opened to 240,000 and Amiri defended from the big blind. The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Amiri check-called a bet of 350,000 from Kniep.

The turn brought the {j-Hearts} and both players checked to the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Amiri checked once more and Kniep counted out a bet of 820,000. Amiri thought for a brief moment but decided to lay his hand down.

Niveau 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn as the board read {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}. From the small blind Alex Goulder led for 325,000, Nick Petrangelo called from the big blind and Glynn Beebe folded in early position.

The river came the {3-Spades}. Goulder led again, this time for 725,000. Petrangelo quickly folded as his stack drops below 20 big blinds.
