Stewart Builds Stack

Prior to the elimination of Max Silver, Scott Stewart won a big pot from Jonas Mackoff without showdown, and he also took on Alexandre Reard soon after.

Both Stewart and Reard invested 650,000 preflop, and the flop came {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. Stewart checked, Reard continued for 475,000, and Stewart glanced at the Frenchman's stack before calling. After the {9-Diamonds} turn, Stewart bet 880,000, and Reard released his cards into the muck.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, and Pham checked. Pollak bet 325,000, and Pham quickly called. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, and both players checked to the {9-Spades} on the river. Pham cut out some chips but them put them back into his stack. After about another minute, he put out a bet of 1,300,000. Pollak quickly folded.
